The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) published the sharing personal information when preventing, detecting and investigating scams and frauds advice in November 2024. As we approach a year since publication, we have launched this short survey to understand the impact of the advice, how it has supported data sharing and ways in which we can improve it.
We are seeking views from across sectors and responses will feed into our evaluation and future amendments to the advice. This survey will remain open until 23:59 (GMT) on December 31 2025. We may not consider responses that are received after this deadline. The survey should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete and contains five sections:
- Section 1: About your organisation
- Section 2: Awareness and engagement
- Section 3: Usefulness and Clarity
- Section 4: Impact
- Section 5: Suggestions for improvement
Please provide as much information as you can where given the option to expand on your response. If you have any questions about this survey or difficulties completing it, please contact the Digital Regulation Cooperation team.
