Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary

The complainant has requested information about a review of a murder investigation carried out by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary (“HIOWC”).
HIOWC relied on section 12(1) (cost limit) of FOIA to refuse the request. 
The Commissioner’s decision is that HIOWC should have relied on section 12(2) to refuse the request and has proactively applied section 12(2) of FOIA.
No steps are required.
