The Vale of Glamorgan Council

The complainant has requested information about a costs claim from Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”). The Council cited sections 22 (Information intended for future publication), 30 (Investigations and proceedings), 31 (Law enforcement), 32 (Court records), 36 (Prejudice to effective  conduct of public affairs), 41 (information provided in confidence), 42 (Legal professional privilege) and 43 (Commercial interests) of FOIA to refuse the request.   
The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council was entitled to rely on section 42(1) to refuse the request. No steps are required.
