The complainant requested information about the proposed ban on the sale of gas boilers and the Future Homes Standard specification. The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (“MHCLG”)
refused the request under the exceptions for material in the course of completion (regulation 12(4)(d)) and personal information (regulation 13). The Commissioner’s decision is that MHCLG was entitled to withhold the
requested information under regulation 12(4)(d) and regulation 13. The Commissioner does not require MHCLG to take further steps.
