The complainant has requested information relating to the destruction of information following the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) intervention with a specific organisation. The FCA refused the request under section 44 (prohibitions on disclosure) of FOIA.   
The Commissioner’s decision is that the FCA was entitled to rely on section 44(1)(a) to withhold information in scope of the request.
The Commissioner does not require any steps as a result of this decision.
