The complainant has requested information about the use of Thursley Common National Nature Reserve as a filming location. Natural England provided some of the requested information but it relied on regulation 12(5)(e) of the EIR to withhold details of remuneration and information from an ecologist about the site. The Commissioner’s decision is that Natural England was entitled to rely on regulation 12(5)(e) of the EIR to withhold the information requested in part d) of the request. The Commissioner requires Natural England to take the following steps to ensure compliance with the legislation: Disclose the redacted copy of the ecological report requested in part e) of the request as planned.
