FOI Upstream - evaluation - August 2025

The FOI upstream project has been running since October 2022, providing support to public authorities to perform in line with their statutory duties and prevent breaches of access to information legislation from occurring.

The full and interim evaluation reports below present the findings from our evaluation of the FOI upstream project. The evaluation approach is informed by the ICO’s Ex-Post Impact Framework (EPIF) and draws on best practice principles from HM Treasury’s Magenta Book.
