The complainant requested copies of communications between the Oxford Internet Institute’s Director and researchers, and representatives of Facebook/Meta and Google/Alphabet. The University relied on sections 40(2) and 41 of FOIA to withhold information.
The Commissioner’s decision is that the University was entitled to withhold the information in scope of the request under sections 40(2) and 41 of FOIA.
No steps are required as a result of this decision.
