The complainant requested information about enquiries, reports and complaints in relation to their company. The Environment Agency (EA) withheld the information requested under regulation 12(5)(f) (interests of the person who provided the information). In its internal review the EA disclosed some information but maintained that the remaining information was exempt under regulation 12(5)(f). It also stated that it considered regulation 13 (personal data) to apply to the withheld information. The Commissioner’s decision is that the EA correctly applied regulation 13 of the EIR to withhold the requested information. The Commissioner does not require any steps to be taken.
