The complainant has requested information on the Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) training materials relating to Universal Credit. The Commissioner’s decision is that DWP is entitled to rely on section 12(4) to aggregate his request with others made on similar topics. He also considers that DWP is entitled to rely on section 12(1) to refuse to comply with the aggregated requests as the cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit. The Commissioner is satisfied that DWP provided reasonable advice and assistance as required by section 16(1). The Commissioner does not require DWP to take any steps.
