The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is based in the centre of Wilmslow, Cheshire, about 12 miles south of Manchester. It is approximately 200 miles (300km) north of London.

Travelling by train

Trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Wilmslow take 15-30 minutes. Trains from Manchester Airport to Wilmslow run hourly and take just under 10 minutes. The ICO is approximately 200 miles (300km) north of London. Direct trains from London to Wilmslow depart from Euston station hourly with the journey taking approximately 1 hr 50 mins.

Directions from the station to Wycliffe House

Head west towards the Leisure Centre, crossing Station Road at the pelican crossing. Walk across the car park to meet Alderley Road (A538). Turn left and go towards the main traffic lights, passing the BP garage and Costa Coffee on your left. Cross the main road and continue straight ahead up Water Lane (A538) passing the Methodist Church on your left. At the next opening turn left, going past a lowered barrier to a private car park. Wycliffe House is directly ahead of you (a two-storey building with a clock).

From Manchester Airport

Wilmslow is close to Manchester airport. It takes about 10 minutes by train or taxi from the airport.

From Manchester city centre

Wilmslow is 13 miles (21km) south of the city centre. Trains to Wilmslow from Manchester Piccadilly take 15-30 minutes.

Travelling by car

Please note there is no visitor parking available on site. The only exception is for visitors with reduced mobility. For all other visitors arriving by car, there is a convenient multi-storey car park at Spring Street, just off Water Lane directly opposite the ICO. Disabled parking bays must be pre-booked with the meeting host at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
