The Victim's code is a code of practice governing services to be provided in England and Wales to victims of crime which occurred in England and Wales.
The ICO is named in the code as an organisation providing services to victims.
The ICO would provide services under the code in cases where we have made a decision either to conduct an investigation or prosecute a crime that falls within our remit.
