The Finance Directorate contains the Finance, Procurement and Estates functions. We provide corporate services to the business to enable and support the business in meeting their objectives.
Finance
The Finance function is responsible for end to end financial services to the business. This includes financial controls and reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable, and financial accounting including the production of yearend financial statements for the Annual Report and Accounts. Finance also provides Management Accounting services to the business such as budgeting and forecasting and the provision of financial performance reports, advice and guidance to budget holders, senior management and internal Boards as well as to the Audit & Risk Committee and the Management Board.
Procurement
The Procurement function provides centre of excellence services to the business enabling the procurement of goods and services and supporting the business with contract management. The procurement function ensure that the ICO is compliant with Public Contracts Regulations 2015, as well as adherence to the Government Spending Controls.
Estates & Facilities
The Estates & Facilities function is responsible for our Estates Strategy, delivering fit for purpose safe, secure and accessible accommodation to meet the business requirements. The Facilities team are responsible for management of our third party suppliers ensuring performance delivery to required standards for all facilities services including security, cleaning and digital mail. The Estates and Facilities team are also responsible for Health & Safety.
