Taken together, these three documents set out how the ICO aims to carry out its mission to uphold information rights for the UK public in the digital age.

Please note that this consultation is the opportunity for respondents to give their views on the substance of the approach to be adopted by the Information Commissioner.

We have created a Guide to Consultation to give an overview of each of the documents. You can submit your responses through our online survey or by completing the Word document below and emailing us at [email protected].

We welcome written responses from all interested parties including members of the public, data controllers and those who represent them. We will consider all responses to the survey and use them to understand the areas where organisations and members of the public are seeking further clarity.

Responses to the documents will be considered before final publication, expected by the end of 2022, which will be overseen by the new UK Information Commissioner.

Please send us your responses by 5:00pm on 24 March 2022 when the consultation will close.
